UCLA vs. Vermont Honors

I do not mind the cold, I love sports, plan to attend graduate school so price is espeacially important. UCLA is looking to be $30,000 a year and Vermont is looking to be $15,000 a year. I definately think I could be happy at either one. Please help! Im trying to decide between prestige versus money and the smaller environment.....helpppp

120K vs 60K...I would have to say Vermont.

UVM is a good school and Burlington is a great college town. You'll have more options for winter sports in VT (there is good skiing, but of course nothing like Colorado). If you really can't decide, follow the money.

What are your academic interests?

I would like to study Econ, geography, or international relations. And I also definately want to go to graduate school for business if that changes anything.

My friend just decided to go to Vermont (honors) over UCLA and Tufts. She's also interested in international relations if that helps. UCLA is great, but if the money is an issue then Vermont is an awesome choice. It seems like a really great environment from everything she's been telling me about it. She really could care less about prestige though, so if that is a concern for you then it might be a different story.
