I called the admissions office yesterday to ask if they were accepting people for Letters and Sciences and the woman said she doesn’t know which colleges are letting people off but we should hear back by the second week in june.
^ All the officers I spoke to said that for [freshman] transfers, we will definitely find out by June 1st, not by the second week of June. (Or else we would have to pay housing at another university too).
This is exhausting. Anyone else waiting on a USC appeal decision tomorrow?

Tbh guys ive stopped caring about LA. Ive fallen in love with ucsb, its so beautiful and they wantwd me while la didnt… Be happy wih wherever youre going guys… Love you all <3
Same, I’m excited to attend UCSD now. If events do change later on, cool! But I won’t be as disappointed if I discover (again) that I didn’t get into UCLA.

^^ I would be too except UCLA is my only choice to not go to community college, meaning that if I don’t get off the wailtist, I’m headed to community college.
Do we really have to wait until the second week of June?

Hey guys I’ve been following this page since it got started and decided to make an account so I can share what I just found out from the admissions office. There was only one wave that came out a couple weeks ago and all the spots have been filled, but they are keeping the waitlist open in case people drop out of their SIR so us waitlist people can replace them. I asked our chances and they said very low. I’m sorry I wanted more than anything to go there. 
Well, the lady I just talked to from the admissions office said (for freshmen) that whatever information you had there is completely untrue. (Especially since only L&S students have been accepted so far). All the other colleges within UCLA are still pending.
@mikuru the lady I talked to said most of the acceptances were for special school like engineering. Even here in college confidential, most of the admits were engineering majors. So I don’t know which one of you is right…
@mikuru Wait really? That makes me so happy. What did they say exactly? Does that mean they will accept more l&s people??
She explicitly said, “I don’t know where that person got that information from, but it is completely false.” (She seemed kinda ticked about it too).
Regarding who’ll actually get in, I have no idea. I think some people here already got off the waitlist for L&S so I’m not sure about that, but for CoE and others no one’s heard back (afaik) so… Maybe! (Also cause not everyone accepts off the waitlist, so I’d like to be optimistic about L&S at least…)
Jebus I’m getting sick of waiting. I have UCSD tho, which is just as good of a school imo, so I’ll be fine
