uconn housing

so I'm planning on applying to uconn but I'm confused on their housing. only one campus has housing out of the 4. im planning on applying for business and three of the campuses have business but no housing. i don't live in Connecticut so am i supposed to rent my own apartment or live in the storrs campus and travel between campuses.. ;o

Storrs is the main campus. Many students at Storrs live in university-owned dorms and housing. Others live close by in apartments. Some also commute.

The four other campuses are regional campuses that are for commuters only. Generally you attend one of the regional campuses you live near if you’re a CT resident and were denied admission to the main campus, or can’t afford to live on it.

If you’re OOS, you should be applying to Storrs, and you will live in a dorm for at least your first year.

Exactly what TaciturnType said of you are oos apply to the main campus in Storrs CT. It has the best business program out of all of the UConn campuses by far. I believe the regional campuses are more for commuters who live in that area or were not granted admissions to the main campus and plan to go to a regional campus for a year or so and reapply to storrs. Definitely apply to the Storrs campus because that is where all of the housing is, you can basically expect to have on campus housing for 2-3 years but most people move into apartments on or offs campus by junior year.
