<p>Sportkidmom- I got into both Ithaca and Bing when I applied to colleges. I took Ithaca off the table (too expensive for a school with lesser academics). Ithaca the city is nice, but Bing isn’t bad either- plus you can easily visit Ithaca from Binghamton.</p>
<p>Thanks for the response caemin. The cost differential between Binghamton and Ithaca for my D is about $2000 with scholarship, grant, sub-loan, and work study (Binghamton gave nothing and we’re OOS). I think the bigger issue for my D is that no one school has stood out as a clear leader. It’s compounded by fact she has a spot on the Ithaca varsity volleyball team, and for Bing she would have to play club. That’s something she’ll have to evaluate as to how important playing is to her.</p>
