UConn RD 2021 Decisions

DD is in! Liberal arts and scienc s at Storrs.

Accepted to Storrs for Human Rights

I got accepted for ACES even though I applied for computer science. Is this common? Is it competitive to get accepted into cs? Would I be able to switch my major to CS when I get to UCONN?

My son got in at Storrs! We just found out and then the server crashed. Everyone must me checking.

just got in!!

My daughter was accepted to Storrs…Biomedical Engineering. Checked last night and decisions were up at 7:30 PM.

Thanks RelocatedYankee that makes sense. We will look for any merit aid in letter and then need-based sometime thereafter.

Congratulations to everyone! I got accepted for Environmental Science at the Storrs campus! Looking forward to visiting soon

My decision came in today and I’m confused to whether I got rejected or waitlisted. My decision read-

We regret to inform you that you have not been offered admission at this time. With one of the strongest applicant pools in UConn history, admission to the University remains exceptionally competitive.

Our Admissions Committee reviewed your application carefully and evaluated your performance in college preparatory courses, standardized test scores, extracurricular activities, as well as other supporting credentials.

We wish you great success in reaching your educational goals at another college or university. If you remain interested in the University of Connecticut, we would welcome your application for transfer admission at a later time.

Can you please tell me what the decision said exactly?

Thats actually a rejection letter. When you’re waitlisted its crystal clear because you have to respond as to whether you accept being on the waitlist or if you want to withdraw your application…

@maisha123 I’m sorry. That is a rejection letter. They are telling you if you go to another college you can try to transfer to UConn at another time.

Has anyone’s portal not changed? My daughters still says “your application was completed on ____day…”. She is very anxious as everyone seeems to know already. Please let me know if you know anything about this!

My daughters portal hasn’t changed either. I don’t know who is more anxious me or her!!

Good luck to your daughter! Let me know what happens… very nerve wracking

My decision was up last night on my portal. I got into the Storrs Campus for engineering

I also posted this in the other thread but in case you aren’t on that one: Congrats everyone who received good news. For those wondering about scholarships and honors program, I received my honors notification with scholarship info the Wednesday via mail after the admission results came out. If you are receiving a merit scholarship you should have that “scholarship disclosure/acceptance” link on your student center now though.

Hello Motortrend…where on the student center would the “Scholarship disclosure/acceptance” be? I see a View Financial Aid button…but not the one you are referring to.

I don’t recall exactly but it was right there on the student center by the financial aid link. If you are in state there is less chance of getting a merit scholarship.
