UCR or SDSU For Biology Major

So I’ve been admitted to a good number of schools as well as denied by a couple, and although I am still waiting on an admission decision from UC Irvine and Cal Poly Pomona, as of right now, from the schools I’ve been accepted to, I’ve narrowed it down to UCR and SDSU. Some of the pros for attending UCR would be that it’s a UC, their biology department is great, and I kind of want to go away for college. Some of the cons is that UCR is really land locked and the weather isn’t what I am accustomed to. Some of the pros of attending SDSU would be that I live in San Diego so I would save money if I commuted to school rather than lived on campus and that from what I’ve heard it has a much more “live” atmosphere in comparison to UCR. Some of the cons is that as stated before, I kind of want to go away for college. So which should i choose to attend?

I say SDSU. I like SDSU more than UCR, personally. SDSU has a friendlier vibe, as I’ve found, and way better location. I think that the SU/UC difference is negligible for these two.
