Hi guys,
I have been going through some things this semester of senior year and I have been struggling in school. I thought it was okay because I already got into UC Riverside and I’m not going to end the year with any F’s or D’s, but my friends told me I have to maintain at least a 3.0. I am currently taking 4 unweighted classes and have 3 B’s and 1 C. I also think that’s what I will end the year with. My admissions provisions on my UCR account doesn’t state that I need to retain at least a 3.0, and that I just need to make sure not to get a C or a D. However, everyone is telling me every single UC tells you to keep at least a 3.0. Again, it does not say that I need to keep a 3.0 anywhere on my provisions. Will I get rescinded?
I think you’re ok as long as you don’t get a D or an F this semester.

Freshmen: If you change schools, add or drop a course, or fail to earn a C or better in a course after you submit your application, you must notify the UC Application Center by email or postal mail.
UCR like almost all the UC’s usually require a 3.0 weighted GPA to be maintained Senior year with no D’s or F’s. UCLA/UCB requires 3.0 unweighted GPA with no more than 2 C’s Senior year with no D’s or F’s.
I think you will be fine but if you are concerned, contact UCR admissions directly and get the answer to your question. Each situation will be handled on a case by case basis.
Even though they say you can’t get a D or F, if you get one D and call your advisor and tell them, they will let it pass. I would recommend you doing so as soon as you find out you find out your grade.
