lol, really?

almost all of these reviews.. are kinda negative.

lol, really?

almost all of these reviews.. are kinda negative.

Can’t see the reviews.

People tend to only give reviews if they are rather frustrated with the campus, not as much when they are neutral or very pleased. This could explain the negative trend of reviews.

**** in the URL is “u n igo”

Alert! everything this dude posts about UCR is negative. ■■■■■ much?

haha I know. May be he should meet Stefanie Schaffner and she’ll throw Trumps money at him. They r probably Rside Haters that came here saying " I am xfering to UCLA"

It seems like most reviews for schools are bad. I’ve looked up reviews for almost all the UC’s just out of curiosity, and the majority are negative. People tend to review when they’re angry I guess.

yeah. seems like most of his posts put down UCR or talk about transferring to UCLA.

Good luck TRYING to transfer.

Seriously though, why don’t you try to enjoy your first year? Maybe, just maybe, you’ll end up liking it.

Yeh agree with arcadefire, Its more likely that the people with the most extreme views tend to voice their opinion

Source: AP Stats

or how UCR Grads cant get jobs. Bull

everything i posted is negative? I just had questions… -_-" i wanted someone to clear up the negative aura surrounding UCR. jus trying to get as much info as i can about where im going to school. just facing the facts

I’d try to focus on the positive info and make the most out of it.

Actually, I looked through most of the UCR reviews on that site. The other reviews that you didn’t link are mostly positive about UCR.

sharedwindow. you are correct. I read all of them as well, most of them say that it’s what you make of it. and im not hatin on UCR, or braggin about transferin to UCLA, lol. On the positive note, UCR was named by the Princeton Review to be among the best 282 colleges nationwide for business.

ranked 96 in the nation and the 25 best value and abest western school and in the top 150 in the world

^based on what standards lol

i know this is where people get all their pride from (the rank of their school)
However, most people don’t even know what they base the standards on and boast about the school’s rankings.

Seoul University in Korea (where i come from) only accepts the so called “geniuses” in Korea. Meaning, you are as smart to go to Harvard. However, if you look at the rankings based on U.S. companies, it ranks below UCI. Why? Because the standards they use are different. (Now please don’t ask me what standards do they use, i do’nt know them on the top of my head and you can google them too)

He is not a UCR hater, most of his posts are not negative about UCR. Shame on you people for putting down a guy.

I also think it’s pretty absurd to have one’s school pride based on ranking…u know, just so you realize, ranking is actually NOT one of our forte.

About the negative review, well…this is why I keep preaching to people not to go to a school they don’t like. This is the simplest concept but I can’t believe how many UCR students attend the school just because they got in.

amen UCRUCR

take UCI for example. Everyone wants to go there because they have more history than UCR. Look at Cal,everyone wants to go there because it’s the most established. UCR is fairly. To be honest, I wanted to kill myself if I got into UCR or those “lower” schools, but I realized that undergrad doesn’t matter, just Grad school

@eminent - you’re definitely right
UCR undergrads probably won’t have a high paying job not because they are from UCR (to some extent), but it is mainly the level of degree they have acquired

i had my mind set on going to an out of state school, so i didn’t really work on my UC essays. i didn’t even apply to ucr, but they sent me an email saying if i sent in a free application, they’d accept me… so i thought… why not. funny how things work.
