UC's don't care about senior year grades...right?

Is it true that the UC's don't care about senior year grades and that they only average 1oth and 11th. If so, I'm thinking of slacking in my classes. ( getting a few B's) If the UC's don't care about senior year grades, this won't hurt my chances for admission right?

I think they look at first semester grades and the courses that you are taking. If you are taking slacker classes and doing terribly in them, it might bring you down. Also, you must maintain a 3.0 average for second semester.

They don't even see your transcript until after they admit you, so as long as its not a dramatic drop I don't see any harm in slacking off a little senior year. Their only requirement is that you maintain a 3.0 unweighted gpa.
