<p>Yes you update your application in January/February to include your fall/winter intersession grades. They are considered for admittance.</p>

<p>Spring is most definitely no. It doesn't factor into the actual decision.
I assume you only include winter session if you have completed it by the time you update.</p>

<p>You will have to send them the transcript showing which class you plan to take during the Spring.</p>
<p>If in case waitlisted, they'll ask for your Spring Grade. That's when your Spring grade makes all the difference between acceptance and rejection.</p>

<p>I have 3 C's that are transferable and 1 "D" that i am going to replace with an "A". How good are my chances for UCLA. I am applying for the design program.</p>

Currently my GPA stands at a 3.3, but if I get straight A's again next semester, after doing it for the first time this semester, I'll be up to a 3.5. I think in that case I might be waitlisted and doing well till the end will help me out alot.</p>

<p>My GPA with the "D" is about 3.15, but if i but if i make the "D" up and get straight A's spring i am assuming it will go up to about 3.5, but the spring grades do not count so i do not know what to do.</p>

<p>Spring grades don't count whether you're accepted but can affect whether or not you're accepted if that makes any sense =). The initial decision to send out acceptance letters is based on winter grades. However, once you receive an acceptance letter, you're asked to send in your final transcript. Now if you get all W's or all D's spring prior to transfer, the school may only admit based on a certain conditional contract(ie maintain a 3.0 average after transfering)</p>
