I have not heard back from UCSB yet. Being that the acceptance rate from https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major was 12% for computer science in 2018, I am beginning to worry.
Primary major: Computer Science
Secondary major: Computer Engineering
GPA: 3.71
Major Prep (completed):
Math: Calc 1 - 3, Linear, DE (all A’s except a B in calc 1)
Programming: Object-Oriented - A, Data Structures - B, Discrete Mathematics - A, Assembly language and logic - IP
Physics : kinematics - B, Electricity/Magnetism - A, Heat/sound/waves - IP
Note: I did take the chemistry class that they asked for, but that is because I switched from CE to CS, and CS does not require chemistry so hopefully it is not included. Chemistry - B
GE’s:
Incomplete because I still need one more GE class (however I was told UCSB is more concerned about major prep courses).
I received A’s in all GE courses, however, I was told that this is not factored into the GPA that the admissions office looks at.
