@cdnotready IB are seen as honour classes, and my score is higher than UCSB’s average

Hello all, I’m an international applicant. With just 6 hours to go, I wish all of you the best, and don’t stress over this too much 
I think i have a decent chance at getting in… but with the way UCSD and UCD threw everyone off, I don’t have a lot of hope anymore:(
@dancingsloth I guess we all have to remember/remind ourselves that admissions are extremely random at times…
I got in UCD CSE by the grace of god I hope another miracle will come for me in less than 6 hours pleaseeee
I have been accepted at UCD for mechanical engineering, UCSD for aerospace engineering, and waitlisted at UCLA. Still waiting for UCSB and Berkeley…
Here is my daughter’s scorecard so far…
Rejected: UCLA, SLO, SDSU
Waitlisted: UCD, UCSD
Pending: UCB, UCSB, CSULB
Accepted: UCI
I’m relieved that she was accepted to UCI, but UCSB is also one of her top choices so it would be nice to have that as an option. Keeping my fingers crossed for her. Good luck everyone, as I know that there are smart, talented individuals on this forum.
My son was already accepted to almost all schools he applied to except UCI (patiently waiting) and UCSB (excited to see at 3 pm today). He got accepted to UCD (will likely SIR), UCR, SLO, CPP, SDSU, and SJSU. He doesn’t want to go to UCSD so he didn’t apply. Got rejected by UCLA (no regrets/not surprised).
Sounds like I was not the only one surprised by the UCD and UCSD decision.
My acceptance: SJSU, SLO, Fordham (with 25K scholarship)
My rejections: UCD, UCSD, UCLA
UCD was my safety UC (or so I thought), UCSD was a real disappointment - many students from my school got in with similar GPA, UCLA was not a big surprise after UCD and UCSD but felt bad nevertheless.
If UCSB also rejects me then it will feel like shit.
With all this baggage UCB already seems like Mt Everest.

Got waitlisted at UCSD and denied UCLA (not shocked) but I only have Cal and UCSB left for UC’s and I’m freaking outtttttt, hope we all get in!
I slept in today (I’m on spring break) to make 3pm come faster.
