Guys, do you know what the UCSB “Net ID” is? I can’t figure out how to log in… I keep having to reset my account every time… :-/

@jackson61 it would be something like smithj13

@abcdepandas But how do you create it?? It never gave me an option to…

@jackson61 I might be wrong, but I think it was included in the application confirmation email they sent?

Seriously within 3 hours ill either be thanking the heavens and rolling on the ground with joyous tears streaming across my face OR crying and consuming the largest tub of ice cream the world has ever known.

@mangoaway Oh really? Okay, I’ll check again thanks

@jackson61 The UCSB net ID is a series of 7 numbers, but I can’t remember where you’re first issued the number. Have you set up your password here <a href=“UC Santa Barbara Admissions Portal - UC Santa Barbara Applicant Portal Login”>https://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/applicant/index.asp yet? You can use your UC Application # OR your UCSB net ID to set up your password and once you’ve done that you should be able to see your UCSB net ID (also known as your Perm. ID). I have another son already at UCSB so that number becomes part of everything you input at the school.

@oldschoolboy, nah man we got thisss

Sending good wishes to everyone whose first choice is UCSB–the waiting will soon be over!

Can someone chance me?
