@Panorama14 It would depend on which classes you still need. I’m not completely sure, but you could call the school and ask. This website http://www.sbcc.edu/classes/ has a catalog for the summer school schedule from 2015 so that may help. It’s also important to know that SBCC has two summer sessions, so one class you need to take may be offered earlier in the summer and not again in the second session.

At this point I have lost all faith of receiving release day decisions. I might as well kick back until mid-April.
Same here. I’m pretty annoyed that I haven’t heard back from ucsc or ucss. I don’t think I even want to see the UCSB portal because I don’t want to be disappointed again lol.
It’s going to be another rolling admissions where the most qualified applicants in certain majors get their news first.
From the looks of last years thread UCSB doesn’t play games with admission decisions. So many were denied and accepted within the first 3 days.
Hopefully man. I don’t want to wait until Mid April for like UCSC and UCSD. The waiting is brutal. If what you say is true at least I know where I will stand lol. @uchopeful414
How important are fulfilling all major PreReqs for UCSB?
I have six major PreReqs for Political Science; but I only completed two of them before spring, and another one now.
Political Theory is a PreReq, but I’m taking Social & Political Philosophy. Also Micro and Macro are both prereqs. I took AP Macroecon and got a 4. Do I really only have micro economics left? Or all of these three prereqs left?
So I only have International Relations, Comparatove Politics, and American G and Politics. Do I have a chance? I’m completing all of IGETC this semester, and I have a 4.0.
So will decisions start releasing at midnight tomorrow?
@BlackPlasma UCSC is the only one that is known for releasing decisions in the night. Your best bet would be to keep yourself busy and assume that they are not up until late afternoon. Especially considering the servers are known for crashing every few minutes on release days.
Yea he’s right. Last year they didn’t start releasing till 2pm
Does anyone know what percentage of decisions they usually release on the first day? I don’t want to get all excited about hearing back tomorrow if most of the decisions aren’t released until next month.
They released about 1/3 of the decisions in the first week last year. So between March 16-23 33% were released. So let’s just say a lot
Getting so nervous. UCSB requested unofficial transcripts from me like a month ago. Hopefully it’s because they like me:)

I remember asking my friend about it because I thought it was a bad thing I didn’t get a request. He told getting a request is bad because it means they don’t believe what you put on the application.
Though who knows how things will go lol.
