UCSC Admission Revoked/Rescinded: what do I do?

I'll put the short version here, and leave the detailed one below it.

I took an elective online math course my senior year, I was a bit delayed in taking it and ended up starting late in my third trimester. Let me be clear when I say I’ve already taken Intro to Calculus and this online statistics course was just suggested by my councilor to fill the gap. Because of some computer issues, the class ended up taking a lot longer than expected. When I got around the computer issues I immediately emailed the UCSC admissions office to tell them the transcript for the ONE CLASS would be late (5 weeks from that point to be exact). I stent a follow up email to the office a week later when they didn’t reply my initial email, and when that went without reply, I called them to have someone tell me to turn in the record “as soon as possible” and when I asked him what the consequences were if I didn’t meet the deadline he said he didn’t know. My emails were replied after the initial deadline, more than 2-3 weeks after I first addressed them. The emails either didn’t address my question or repeated what I heard in the phone call. When I got a warning I would be canceled on august 10th without the transcript, I checked my emails to confirm that I warned the admissions office about the exact time, and August 10th was before the 5 weeks I specified. They still revoked my admission, and I arranged a meeting with the director to reverse it. He gave me the opportunity to appeal but ended up denying my appeal. Should I continue fighting, just deal with community college for 2 years, or try and get a last minute appeal to a CSU?

The long version:

For my senior year, my councilor suggested I take an online statistics course to cover math for the year because I already took introductory calculus and AP calculus didn't fit well into my schedule. I was instructed to sign up at National University and take the course during free periods given to me in my Fall and Spring trimesters. On my application, I unfortunately stated I would take the course in the fall, but due to the money and some issues with my account, I didn't even get to start the course during that trimester. In the third trimester, I wasn't able to start the class immediately because of my heavy responsibilities as the yearbook editor (which kept me at school until 8 at night on many occasions) and a lead role in the school musical. So I opted to take the class later in the trimester. I signed up for the class and my account was still having difficulty accessing the assignments, the work was a bit more time consuming than I thought, and my hard drive crashed which dramatically slowed my progress. When I was calling National University to resolve this, they mentioned that transcripts wouldn't be available for a minimum of around 4-5 weeks even if I DID finish the class already. After getting my computer back online I immediately emailed the UCSC admissions office (on July 3rd) saying that one of my three transcripts wouldn't be available for 5 weeks at a minimum, missing their July 15th deadline. When this email wasn't replied for an entire week, I sent a duplicate email on the 10th. Finally I called on the 12th at which point an admissions officer told me "Turn it in as soon as possible." When I continued and asked him what the consequences might be given my situation, he said "I don't know, is that all? Thank you for calling." and he hung up. The emails were replied on the 17th and the 27th respectively. The first email was a repeat of the phone call, and the second didn't even address the question. On the 24th of July I received an email stating that the deadline had a final extension until August 10th: before the 5 weeks I specified in my email. I wrongly assumed that they would have noted the deadline conflict when they said "as soon as possible" in their emails. I received my revocation letter on the 20th of August and arranged a meeting with the director for the next Wednesday. I asked my teacher about getting my transcripts for the now completed class and she said she would only guarantee that they would be done by September 14! I explained the situation to the director, bringing in all the documents to prove my case and he said I should appeal and that the decision would be made with him and a member of the senate. I forwarded documents to the senate to speed up the process. Alas, on September 12, two days before my transcript was set to be released, my appeal was denied.
I already made contacts with the local community college but it’s hard to get classes. I’m worried I’m missing out on some of the best years of college; I’m not really one to party or anything but just the social life and the convenience of living on campus independently appeal to me a lot. Should I just work with the community college for 2 years, boost my GPA, guarantee a spot at a UC and maybe even apply to some good privates, or should I try and get myself into a CSU and possibly a UC (which would be difficult) or a private from there?

Well, if your appeal is not successful, then CC is your main alternative option.
