Pre-reqs: Finished. It’s just the UCSC general education requirements.
IGETC: No
EC: Part time job, two clubs
TAG: No
Deal Breaker: 42 credits of my 62 credits are from a University of San Francisco and the other 20 credits are from a CCC. I feel like I am going to get rejected because of my mixed credits. Do I have a chance at all??? 
@muchConflicted Have you spoken to a counselor? This shouldn’t actually be a huge problem as long as you are a junior transfer. A lot of students also transfer between universities before their junior year and this is considered acceptable. I’m surprised a counselor hasn’t advised you on this.
@anthropologeez UCSC did release a statement saying they tend to tell tagged students and extremely high performing students before they tell the others. This was for this year and was posted here in this thread if you scroll back to previous pages.
I am really frustrated that I haven’t heard back yet. I have a 3.8 GPA and list of extra curricular activities \ as long as my arm. I would honestly rather go here than Berkeley if they were to accept me and I am so tired of waiting for an answer as this has been a 4 month long waiting game. I wish they would just say something already.
When they say they will continue posting on a rolling basis, what exactly does that mean?
@astrophilia Rolling basically means that they will continue to randomly send out decisions on a daily/weekly basis until the end of April.

@mysticalforest Yeah! my counselor helped me out a lot actually. However, I am just very unsure if my private uni credits will even be UC transferable. I am hoping they will be, if not it will be a lot of wasted money for me Thank you for the reassurance though. That helped me feel better.
My brother applied to UC’s last year so I had him check what day he heard from UCSC and it was April 14th (accepted). Hoping some more of us hear this Thursday.

Got rejected from UCSB and that bothers me less than my pending UCSC app.
@fcb1010 It seemed to be mostly Thursdays in 2016 but they threw in a few random Fridays towards the end of April.
Nothing from UCSB or UCSC!! god this is SO ANNOYING LOL.

EC: Not much, but I did volunteer at a public library for around a year and had close to 200 hours.
