UCSD admit by GPA or major OR both?

yea, I can’t wait to fast forward to April 29th/30th.
haha, I’m actually a sophomore, trying to do junior transfer for fall 2012.

@UChopeful- I’m applying under regular econ, but alternate major as math/econ.

@Eggyham & UChopeful: Oh, UCR. I don’t know where to start. As it is a highly diverse campus, everyone is pretty nice to one another and accepting of all different backgrounds. I don’t know, maybe it’s because i haven’t done upper division courses yet, but the students don’t seem that motivated. (Maybe I"m just biased)
As far as the social life, there are definitely a lot of parties going on all the time, frats and sororities are VERY active if you’re interested in joining one. But as far as the location, there’s not much to do outside of the school. There’s a hookah bar down the street…but then you’d have to drive 30min to 1 hr for more entertainment.

Yeah. I remember people saying that. I’d honesty choose UCR over UCSB since UCR is more chill and I like chill environments. I think you have a pretty good chance…you have a good GPA. I saw your other posts and I don’t think you have anything to worry about!

^Thanks. Wish you all the luck you’ll need to endure these anxiety-driven 6 months!

165 days ;)
