<p>having ELC doesn't hurt, but it's in no way a guarantee of admission ... which you already knew. just work on polishing the rest of your application.</p>
<p>SD admissions are based on point totals, and elc status gives you more points. Good essays, and decent ECs and test scores should put you in that 89%.</p>
