UCSD Class of 2020 Discussion

I see quiet a few people getting in to CS not sure what it means though… Did you apply for CS as well?

@edenwish my friend applied CS and got in

@i2400ezpz What are your stats? My UC GPA is 3.9 ACT 32

@pleaseacceptme Do you know your friends stats?

Okay this is really annoying because I have way over the avergae grades, am really well-versed in varsity sports, clubs, etc, and write essays about a really difficult facial surgery. I have gotten in to all 6 colleges i have heard from so far and my ucsd portal says the March 30 thing.

@Way2uni all I know is his gpa at our high school is a 4.3 weighted.

Has anyone gotten in for HUMAN BIOLOGY? I haven’t heard back from UCSD yet  I’m assuming its a rejection but it could be major based…

@mc1682 I’m praying its major based too! I applied as environmental systems and I haven’t heard anyone get accepted into that yet

Anyone for management science???

@chantal225 woah there buddy maybe that entitled attitude of yours is the reason you haven’t heard back from San Diego =D>

I had applied to UCSD and got in. My major, however, shows as undeclared despite selecting MechE as major and Aerospace as alternate major. Is there anyone who could enlighten me on this decision??

@shelbytaylor278 sorry that I care

@mc1682 yes I got into human biology. It was my first choice and I got into sixth college (first choice as well).

@mc1682 Yes I got into Human Biology as well.

Hey so @Way2uni I have checking my portal almost everyday so I’m pretty sure it came up right now. Also, I had applied for CS Major but I got into Undeclared :expressionless:

@mc1682 yup accepted to Human Biology
33 ACT
4.38 weighted
In-state

@lolonimous it means you were admitted into the university but unfortunately not in either of your selected majors. UCSD admits students into the university first before considering major

@MidoriGreen Sorry for the poorly written comment, I meant that my friends were overqualified(4.5+ uc gpas and 336 act/2350+sat), not me. :stuck_out_tongue:

@lolonimous Mechanical and aerospace are both impacted majors, meaning you can be admitted to UCSD but not that major. You can select a non-engineering major or try to transfer into the school of engineering later.
