It looks to be pretty competitive, I can’t find any exact data like they put out for UCLA but it seems like the middle-ground on their acceptances for Econ. You apply to UCLA/Cal?
I did apply to UCLA and CAL. But I took business calculus, which I think only UCSB and UCSD accept. So I don’t except them to admit me

@clinic34 Congratulations! Did you check the portal before 9:30 today? Or is this the first time you checked the portal?
@altavista yeah I’ve been checking all day!
@clinic34 Glad to know they’re still updating! Thank you for the update
@clinic34 You have already been accepted to UCSB?
@clinic34 Congratulations! I noticed you said you got accepted to UCSB already. Is this truly the case? I thought they weren’t releasing decisions until the 22nd!
Weird.
@goldencub Philosophy majors united in thought B-)
Or maybe just waiting for that “piece of mind” (to reference my old typo).
Congrats @clinic34
Did any Life science majors get admission to the school yet?
@hosoo2 a couple of my friends who were Life science majors got accepted but they had 4.0’s
@clinic34 You know getting TAG for UCSB doesn’t count as accepted, right?
i just logged in to check my status and it says “he system is temporarily unavailable. Please come back later”. Is there anything wrong?
@ssm24k It seems to go down around midnight every night. Don’t worry about it!
do oos hear back last?
@041191 doing the tag does gurantee you admissions hence the ( Transfer Admissions Gurantee) as long as you do everything that is expected and you have satisfactory grades not putting you below the 3.2.
There are instances wher TAG ppl will get decided put that’s due to missed deadlines , discrepancies on their applications or transcripts, or having too many units and being considered senior standing.
Any sociology majors hear back? I’m assuming they’re releasing admission decisions to the high gpas first? This wait is killer
