@ClassClown78 Are you sure you applied? I would probably remember sending in my essays with the app. That is unless having to write them was a traumatic experience and you blocked out the memory, which would be pretty understandable now that I think about it.
Any other Cal residents applying from an oos university?
@Ssamus I’m applying from a 4 year uni
@ClassClown78 - I suspect you are in the wrong group.
Did you mean to post that message in the SDSU group instead of UCSD group?
SDSU would not have required an essay.
how do you guys know decisions will be out this week? did someone confirm with admissions or have they released it around this time in prior years?
@JUROD211 it’s based on when decisions have been released in previous years
@JUROD211 I believe someone called admissions and that’s where the 4/18, 4/20 dates are from
HOPEFULLY SOME OF US GET SOME ACCEPTANCES TOMORROW… they owe us for flaking on us in March
Hey guys! Quick question. I am a Computer Science major and I am taking a course called Calculus 1D. Basically in my college there is Calculus 1A, 1B and 1C which is Calculus 1,2,3. I took those and did very well. Calculus 1D is basically an advanced version of 1,2 and 3 and can fulfill credit for a class I will probably have had to take at the University. Basically, none of the UC’s I realistically can get in to (I have a 3.7) REQUIRE that 1D course. It’s just recommended to speed things up when I transfer. So it’s a major prerequisite, but a recommended one. I have the rest of the prerequisites completed. If at a very worst case scenario I withdraw from this class with a W, will I get rescinded?
Thanks!

That website has all the admission dates. It should be on the 20th.
@AyGrey That’s something you should ask the UCs. Just call them or email them and ask if you can drop it.
Hey! I’m curious, what was your experience with psychology at UCSC? @Princetonian9
Hi guys, not to be a downer but I’m not sure why we’re getting mixed messages here. Some people have heard admissions decisions will start to be released the 18th or 20th which I hope is true! But I just called the admissions office and they said they’ll be released “by the end of the month”, when I asked if there was a specific date yet, she said “no one really knows to be honest”. Hoping for the best and for early decisions for everyone of course!
Ugh! I am panicking over here over UCSD when I should be concerned about UCLA and Cal! I understand Cal and UCLA releasing late (they always do) plus they are the top UCs, but UCSD? C’mon now, hurry up and tell us!
I have been accepted to UCI and SDSU, I honestly thought UCSD would follow not shortly after…
@hertealeaves UCSD always releases a majority of its decisions late.
So most likely decisions, majority, will not be coming out this week… I’m not… I’m so done rn
@ucsd1402 oh come on, we have to wait another week?! I thought they were done finalizing applications two weeks ago. I think what they meant ‘by the end of April’ is that every person who got accepted, rejected or waitlisted will be notified. Besides, does every UC now want to release after Berkely?
@ucsd1402 They always say that. People got the same answer last year… They’re not allowed to say dates just incase something happens.
Can anyone chance me please!!
Major: communication

President of a club/ Interclub Council/Part time job on campus.
Transferring from CCC but I’m an international student.
Decisions will come out by the end of this week guaranteed since Berkeley is the last college to send out decisions which is next Friday, and because transfer Trition day is May 5th there is no way they can send them out next week
