@chianc I am in a similar boat as you, My GPA is the same but I am Bio major and pretty involved with the EC`s… Your chances seem good to me because last year my sister (who is a bio major as well) had a 3.2 GPA and got wait-listed and then accepted into UCSD but had already commited to UCI at that point so i have high hopes for us both. FYI to all, If you get waitlisted by UCSD they ask you to state why you want to attend there and you have to answer in a paragraph why…
honestly… they need to give at least 2 weeks for people from oos or from upstate california to plan coming for triton day!!! if not then many of us will not be able to attend esp. because ppl like me need to take off work and stuff 
Definitely agree @lovela I’m from norcal and I probably have to wait until pretty close to the transfer days to book flights rip my wallet

@ashleyes there’s no way to know for sure but my best guess would be around 3pm. give or take a few hours each way.

@Vaneeters I would choose UCLA just because Berkeley seems a little too competitive for me, but it also depends on your major and which school offers more towards it!
hey guys can someone help me on how the whole dorming situation would work? I turn 18 in october, but i’m still a transfer, so i’m going in as junior level. do you think they would put me w the freshman bc of the age range, if not is it possible to ask them to? it’s gonna be my first year at a 4 year so i kinda want to experience it like the freshman haha
@srafiq if you applied as a junior they’re going to accept you as a junior! you could still have a freshman experience if you chose to dorm or something.
@earlytransfer11 Hey! Thanks for asking I had to read it twice cause I was like wait are they taking to me… anyways, I didn’t actually take any psychology classes at ucsc which is kinda funny. I’m in between a chem major or a psych major so I applied a psych major for now. But ucsc was honestly pretty great for me at least, I made some good friends and memories, however i was not able to live there any more. A big mix of not my vibe, too different of an atmosphere, too isolated from everything, literally everything, kinda expensive since I’m from San Diego, and i thought it wasn’t too late to try something new :] were you interested in the campus or the major haha
