@hailey5799 i’m just meh about the whole “someone said” thing after today because i was soooooo freaking sure (and a majority of people on this thread too) were sure about ucsd coming out today

If I email a major change request to swap from Math B.A. to Mathematical Sciences B.S. do you think there will be any issues? They are both in the College of Letters and Science in UCSB and are in the list of OPEN MAJORS.
@aygrey same question has been answered on the UCSB thread, is doable and most likely to be okay becsuse someone in the same situation has called UCSB and got the answer, is on the UCSB thread go check it out
I know no one knows but does anyone have guesses on why it is so late? I mean I know they received a lot of applicants, but it just seems odd that UCSD seems to be lagging a lot this year.
@sleepychickens Not sure how many people know, but the “zot” thing comes from the comic strip B.C., with permission from the original author (and his grandson, who has taken up the comic). It was always one of my favorite parts of the comic strip, and it was only recently (after applying) that I found out UCI had adopted it.
Of course, I’m not even sure how many people still read the funnies…

i know historically ucsd has called freshmen minorities/top applicants, etc (not 100% sure why they call certain people), but i haven’t heard this happening for transfers, like ever. but it’s been awhile since freshmen decisions have gone out, so it’s only us transfers left. you guys think they’re going to try something different this year and call some of us?
