UCSD TAG pipeline program

Has anyone received a decision about their special TAG getting approved? I got an email saying that I was approved of the TAG. Here is the email:

"Hello a98don,

We’re glad you filled out the TAG-UniversityLink Transition Program application and that your community college identified you as a student for this program.

Here are your next steps:

The most important step is to complete the University of California application for admission. The submission deadline is November 30, 2011.

Do you need some guidelines to help fill out the application? Attend our events for transfer applicants:

Transfer Friday November 4 on-campus
Application Workshop November 5 on-campus
Application Webinar November 9 online

When we review your application, if you do not satisfy all the requirements needed to be TAG-eligible, rest assured we will still consider your application as a general transfer student. Official admission decisions will be posted online by the end of April 2012.

Submit your application. Remember the deadline is November 30, 2011.

Has anyone gotten this? Does this mean that I'm TAGged at UCSD for real?

WOW, it’s Nov. 1st 1AM and you already received UCSD’s tag? I haven’t yet!

Me and about four other people I know gotten this email last friday. I’ve been asking around my school if anyone that signed up got something different, but I haven’t seen one yet. It seems somewhat similar to the vague replies that UCSD sent out last year. From my interpretation, it just says that our particular community college verified our qualifications for the program, so we should be good. There are probably not many students in this program, so that’s most likely why they were able to send the message pretty quickly imo.

I think it’s meant to be hush-hush unless you really checked in your transfer center.

Ok, I feel relieved. Thanks jaybyron.
