<p>I’m somewhat surprised UCSD became so stringent on admissions overnight. The CSE majors were considered non-impacted and thus if you met UCSD’s basic requirements for admission you were in (apparently). </p>
<p>I guess they changed their minds! lol. </p>
<p>A good friend of mine suggested that taking both of my required English classes this semester may push them to reject me, that’d be ridiculous though! Not only do I have As in those classes, but the professor recommended me to be a tutor!</p>
<p>Anyway, I only applied to Davis and San Diego. Despite having spent my entire life ~20 miles from Berkeley, I have been told time and time again not to apply unless all of my pre-reqs were complete. </p>
<p>That people seem to need a 3.8 to get in, concerns me too. Hell, you try getting anything higher living with my autistic bro! NOT EASY! lol. My mom and I are the only normal people here, it’s tough sometimes. </p>

<p>The problem I see with this is that there is someone with a 3.7 no tag who can’t register (Got into UCLA), a 3.3 tag who can’t register (FENRIS), and a 3.1 tag who can register (Somewhere on here). Maybe those who cannot register don’t have a decision yet…?</p>

<p>I sent my update for fall grades, winter in-progress courses, and spring planned courses on January 20th. I then updated again to submit my winter grades on February 18th when they became official.</p>
