UCSD Verification Worksheet

i'm still waiting on UCLA result but what if i get rejected and decide to go to UCSD? is it going to be too late to send it my financial verification worksheet which is due..may 1st? UCLA result probably comes out 4/24...so that leaves me only a week.

Just turn in our verification sheet. It's not like you're submitting your SIR. I turned mine in already even though I'm still waiting for UCB and UCLA. Can't do any harm without the SIR.

oh thanx i didn't know we can do that

or you could just mail it next day air... it shouldnt cost more than a few dollars for a letter...

No problem. People get the notion that they're going to that school by sending in their financial aid info. That's not the case.

Edit: I think faxing is another good way of doing it.

Lackofsense: Can you tell me what is UCSD Verification Worksheet ? I don't know if I have to submit somethings by May 1sy or not. Because in my file, I see by may 1st, it said I have to hand in additional information......

I dont know if I have to submit things or not for UCSD

I need to fill mine out because I'm an independent student. I'm not sure if it applies to dependents. In any case, you can try the instructions below or call them to see if you need to turn in additional worksheets.

Click "My Financial Aid Preliminary Award Notice"
Click "continue to Awards" in the Financial Aid Status screen. It'll bring you to the UCSD Net Cost page.

Click "Continute to Awards" again. On the "Application Complete Deadline May 1st" page, click the "Verification Worksheet" link. Mine says "Your signed, completed Verification Worksheet."
It's a PDF file. Print and fill it out. Instructions are on it.

Hope this helps

Thx.. I don't have that link. So I guess I don't have to fill that out..

Thanks so much!

crazyboy: I recommend that you call them, since they're asking for additional information. But if you think that you've turned everything in, you're golden.

dependents also have to fill it out. i'm a dependent and on the top of the form it specifically says its verification form for dependents.
i'm confused on the Household Information part though. Do we fill out the names of our parents AND ourselves?

fanfan: My guess is that they're only asking for your parents info. I don't see the reason to include yourself since everything was on FAFSA. To play it safe include yourself with (me) next to your name.
