UCSD vs UCD for premed

hi! i only have 2 weeks left to decide btwn colleges and i’m pretty split. i was admitted to ucsd 7th college as a general bio major and ucd as a biological sciences major. from my research, i’ve concluded the schools are pretty similar so i’m having trouble choosing. The main issue for me is since i’m premed, i am worried about protecting my gpa. ik premed/bio will be competitive at any stem uc, so i don’t know which school to choose.
for context: i was rejected from ucla and ucb, applied to ucsd davis ucsb and got into those 3. i tried in school and attended a high school in alameda county, CA (so decently competitive) and ended with a 4.3 w 3.97 uw gpa. took 5 hon and 6 aps. 35 act 1460 sat if that matters? i did 4 sports, 3 clubs, 1 summer job, and a lot of sustained volunteering but not much extra academic/medical extracurriculars. This is not to flex bc obv there’s better people out there, it’s just to give an idea of the type of student i was.

ucsd pros:
-more research xp, some clinical xp
-weather
-beach activities
-already have some friends from a gc so socially dead not an issue
-have a roommate lined up
-better academic reputation
-on campus medical center
-4k aid
-if i get weeded out :frowning: it has decent name recognition in biotech/research
-change of scenery from home
-GE reqs make it easier to study abroad
-safe area

ucsd cons:
-competitive/difficult to get high gpa bc such a prehealth school
-same as before but for getting health industry related ecs
-expensive area for broke college kids
-everything pretty far apart on campus and surrounding area
-hard to get to know professors bc school size
-expensive and limited off campus housing
-difficult to get classes since my major is capped so many kids want the same thing
-you have to be pretty independent/self-sufficient to get those opportunities in the pros section-no help from the school
-no prior knowledge of how hard the 7th college GEs are bc it’s the newest one
-no connections
-on campus i felt excited to attend but like stressed/nervous

davis pros:
-similar to my hometown-easier/shorter adjustment period
-clearer opportunities for clinical xp, some research but need to cold email to get spots
-easier than ucsd to get higher gpa (less premed competition?)
-health related internships guarantees me a spot
-prehealth conference sounds cool
-close+cheap off campus housing
-easy to travel among campus
-i read that ucd med school accepts 20% of ucd matriculants. not sure if that’s true but if it is, then that would be nice
collaborative env. with decent professors
-8k aid
-safe area

davis cons:
-quiet area, on campus i felt calm and comfortable but not excited to attend
-introverted student body
-so many people from my school go there
-isolated, middle of nowhere
-no roommate yet
-student run clinics are in sacramento (far-ish) and competitive to get a spot
-less number of opportunities than ucsd so premed
-no connections

making this list kinda made me realize davis sounds better on paper but i’m having trouble choosing it bc i like ucsd sm. but i’m not sure if i want to risk my future (like attend ucsd and end with a <3.7) over a feeling. i also don’t want to choose davis bc of the slightly higher chance of beating the curve and end up struggling anyway. anyways, any thoughts would be appreciated. hopefully before may 1

Sounds like in terms of cost and major, Davis is the best choice for you.
