Hi guys! I'd really appreciate it if I could get some of your input. I'm deciding between UC Irvine with Regents' and UC San Diego for psychology. I'm having a hard time because UCI is offering me a lot more money and I would have priority enrollment with Regents'. But UCSD's psychology program is ranked a lot better than UCI's. I'm just kind of stuck. Any and all opinions would be appreciated! Thanks a bunch.

If you are premed, I would take UCI Regents. I’m not sure the fact that UCSD ranks high in psychology matters unless you want to do Phd.

Sorry, I didn’t see this till now! Thanks so much for your input though. By saying that it ranked high in psychology, I just meant that it seems as though I would get somewhat of a better education from UCSD? I like the idea that with UCI Regents’, I’d get access to research opportunities and priority enrollment but I just worry that I’d be passing up a school in which I could possibly gain more? I’m not sure if I want to do premed, I’ve taken classes that are somewhat geared towards premed but I think I’m leaning towards clinical psych after w/ graduate school.

I’m not familiar with psych but I know with Regents you get undergraduate research.
