when do people get rejected? i didnt get anything yet, but did ucsd send an emial to some saying they were out of the race?
@Needtobreathe So are they still going to be accepting people off the waitlist or ? Did they say? I just want a yes or a no at this point I don’t even care lol
The way they explained to me was like it depends on the decision of the admitted people… Basically the later the round, the lower the person is on the waitlist
I got off the UC Davis wait list yesterday! But I’m still waiting on SD since it’s my first choice. Davis sent me an email around 6pm yesterday and they’re giving me a week to SIR.

Has anyone else gotten in yet? Or have you heard of anyone else being accepted from the wait list recently?
I was offered admission to UCSD through the wait list last Wednesday, and I accepted it but my FAFSa information somehow didn’t go through to them, so now I have to go through a whole appeal process for them to release my Financial Aid to me… :((
Accepted in UCSD off the waitlist today. So excited. They put me in Roosevelt and I’m majoring in human bio. My only question/ fears are about the fact that housing isn’t guaranteed ):

Freshman as well. From my research I’ve learned that they are going to open a housing waitlist in July but they said they are expecting to fill up ): then there’s always off campus housing but that means that we would have to update fafsa and our financial aid amounts will decrease. Also, I don’t know how it would work paying your landlord rent. Like I wonder if you could use the grant money from the financial aid package or what. I’m thinking about calling tomorrow.
Just got off the waitlist as undeclared (was CS) to Marshall
Got off the waitlist yesterday! So excited!!! UCSD has been my dream school since I was a little kid lol. I got in as a general bio major (1st choice) (Marshall College).
To the others who were accepted off the waitlist and are actually attending:
Did you guys have to wait a bit before ucsd seemed to actually process your sir? I submitted mine a few hours ago and I see a congratulations and “my application checklist” but when I try to sign up for my college orientation an error message comes up telling me to check my application status. Did anyone else have this problem at first? I’m hoping that it just needs time to be processed first or something.

Wow. A lot of people got in this year of the WL! I know of a friend at my HS that got in off the WL too…I wonder how many they actually accepted off the waitlist. They usually don’t accept more than a handful; last year nobody got off. Either way, happy to be in my dream school and congrats to my fellow future Tritions!
And yeah…that housing waitlist…fun.
