Congraz! @makeuplover What was your GPA? I heard that a couple of people have already gotten in UCSD in biochem/cell/molecular bio.
Apparently we will all receive decisions tomorrow. Based on the fact we’ve waited so long I can’t imagine they will be good

lol…lol…now the statement :After May 1 and no later than June 1…" is GONE…no date at all…so the stupid wait continues…what a joke…all the tax money going for OOS students!!!

Hello I am an out of state student transferring as a Junior…I got wait-listed (of course since it is a lot harder for out of state)and I have not heard back yet. On the day that some people got accepted off wait list…I think it was the 22nd of May, I got a duplicate email saying that my appeal decision was for me to stay on the waitlist which was odd, here is a screen shot I took of it http://puu.()sh/hVQ7C/b6780f0078.png. (Remove the () collegeconfidential doesnt like push)It seems like they keep pushing my decision back for instate students (I am not surprised). I am sorry for you instate students complaining about out of states taking your spot, but out of state students are paying like 40k-50k a year which in turn will leave them in more debt if it makes you feel any better. If I do get accepted I am definitely going to look for off campus housing to ease the payment and pay around 35k instead :/. I really Hope for the best for instate and out of state students!

how did UCSD notify you of the decision? Thanks! I got waitlisted and still haven’t heard anything
I called UCSD today and they said they are not sure when will they continue to release waitlists. There will not be any deadline for them
For transfers at least…the past two years they started releasing wait list offers on the 4th of June, hopefully they will start releasing them this week!~
Is UCSD waitlist works major specific? or GPA?

Guys, do any of your portals have any type of date for the deadline? I know that it used to say “after May 1st, and no later than June 1st” and that the date was removed. Mine has absolutely no date though. It just says to wait. Someone else a few days ago posted that his changed to “after May 1st, and no later than mid to late June.” What does your portal say?
