You have to register with the User ID they gave you in the e-mail. Then you can go to myapplication.ucsd.edu and make an account and then check if you got admitted or if they’re still deciding on your admission.

Any Art majors hear anything yet?

So, I just logged in to TritonLink, and there’s no decision posted for me yet, but there’s a new option on my left-hand sidebar that someone mentioned earlier: Housing Application. I tried to log in a few minutes before, and it wouldn’t let me in despite the fact I tried maaaaany times, and had all info correct. It says I’m not allowed to fill it out due to my admissions status, but that option wasn’t there earlier today. Someone was talking earlier about it being a glitch before updating the site to show approval. I’ll update and let you know if I my acceptance notice is posted soon! If so, I think we can safely assume that, at the least, this happens right before a decision is posted, or at the most, right before an admissions decision is posted…

By the way, Poli Sci: American Politics major.

Don’t you guys all have TAG and get in automatically?

I thought that only TAG students could apply for the Winter enrollment option.

Weird, now I can’t login it forwards me to this: [UCSD Blink: Link Family](http://blink-prod.ucsd.edu/Blink/External/Topics/Policy/0,1162,1984,00.html)

when are you guys submitting your SIR’s??

Any Econ majors got accepted yet? By the way, do anybody know whether UCSC has something like TritonLink to check your admission status?

Yeah: my.ucsc.edu

You need the student # and password they sent you. It’s on the red sheet of paper, the W number.

I don’t know empires, I’ve always had the Housing Application available. But, you never know. Even though we’re all guaranteed entry for the Winter Semester it’s a bummer waiting for everything :/

i just had a random thought today, do you guys think they are admitting on a basis of income? i put down a fairly high income for my family (even though i am on my own), and i know a friend who got in too and his parents are pretty well off aswell. The people who got accepted, if you dont mind sharing, was the income on your app say 80K+? im curious, maybe they are holding off on people who applied for financial aid etc, i personally didnt qualify for financial aid or fafsa so maybe thats why i got my acceptance so quick. hmmmmm just a thought, although interesting…

Have to debunk that theory of yours Sam. I live in a single parent household where my mother’s income for 2008 was 18k, so I fall within the range of financial aid.

I have a hunch it has to do with either your GPA and/or major when they’re deciding their admission process.

^^ thanks, i guess that wasnt the case then. did you get into your college of choice? and did you submit your SIR yet? im still waiting, idunno why but im gonna send in my IGETC and trascripts before i submit my SIR.

Yeah, Warren was my first choice and Muir was my 2nd. I picked Warren because their GEs are quite flexibile and since i’m a engineering major I think i’ll fit nicely in Warren.

As for SIR, i’ll probably wait till I get my official acceptance letter packet through the mail before filling out the SIR. Probably send out IGETC and my transcripts before then. Do we have to send our HS transcripts or is it just our CCC transcript?

Yeah, I doubt it’s income since I quit my job a little over two years ago to go back to school. I haven’t made a penny in taxable income since then.

I know a math major with a 3.8 that’s still waiting to find out if he’s getting accepted.

yay
thank you so f#### much mkim56 cause i was lookin on triton link for admissions status and i checked today on the application page and it says"congrats blah balh"

For everyone that was admitted, did you apply to more than one UC campus?

I appled to UCSD, UCSC, UCR, and UCmerced. Really only did because my application fee waiver allowed me to apply to up to 4 schools for free.

Haven’t heard from any of them besides UCSD.

hey guys i was wondering for those haven’t been accepted into ucsd for the winter if their tritonlink page still has the contact information update and about the required application update form. thanks! gl to everyone

You mean the paragraph at the top about remembering to send in the transfer application update form? And, underneath that, the links you can click to update your info? Yep, it still shows on mine.

Yeah still shows on mine too.
