What I meant was I don’t understand how a business owner working full time would be able to receive financial aid when people who don’t work and are broke received very little from financial aid.</p>
<p>^ it happens. My friend received a crap ton of FA (like 3-4k per semester in CC) while his parents owned 3 restaurants. He always said it was due to him being “Mexican”…</p>
<p>@CaliMade: A lot of it is because their parents make decent money. Not “rich” by any means, but when you start having a combined family income over $100k your FA goes downhill quickly.</p>

I’d prefer to be in the west. But I don’t think the survey has anything to do with where they put you.</p>
