<p>UUUGGGHHHH just got put in a double for Summer. If I can’t switch to a single, I’d rather not bother with Summer school.</p>

<p>@Anacondrea: You got put in a double for summer?! How?! This place is a ghost town right now. I’ve seen one person on our entire floor in about 2 weeks.</p>
<p>Well I got in a room in east building 1. Doubles though. Sucks even though I applied super early. </p>
<p>Also one of the roommates are RA. Hope he’s not some sort of a hard ass</p>

<p>New complaint: the water pressure in the shower sucks and the shower head is roughly 5’6" tall. I have to squat down to wash my hair and I’m only 6’.</p>
<p>@grimes99: That’s what I figured! The email said “This is a double room. Please keep in mind that our summer spaces are limited. If you did not get your preferred room type it is because we ran out of rooms.”. </p>
<p>I called them as soon as I found out and let them know that I’m registered with OSD, so hopefully that will aid in them deciding to open another single. Should find out tomorrow.</p>
<p>Sucks that they took so long to tell me I’m in a double. If I’m stuck, I have no back-up plan and class starts in one week, oh jeeeeeeeeeebbbuusss.</p>
<p>In the fall I will be on the 13th floor of West tower. Dun dun duuuuuuuuun!</p>

<p>I’d love to meet up with you when I finally get there. I don’t know anyone down there and from what I’ve seen online, I think you’re about my age… a rarity.</p>

<p>I doubt it. I still can’t believe how short it is. If you’re above 6’ have fun washing your hair. I mean I know this school is majority Asian but come on… :P</p>
<p>Yeah they probably made the fixture permanent so people wouldn’t try to put a handheld on and end up breaking it. </p>
<p>So I know that your roommate is supposed to be of the same gender but is there any chance that your other suite mates can be of the opposite?</p>
<p>Like in the same apartment? I highly doubt it, but I’m not sure. The floors/buildings are co-ed though, so the apartment next door could have the opposite gender.</p>
<p>it’s the same gender in the suite. That’s fine though, have you ever had a girl as a roommate? it’s horrible.</p>
<p>Return Village residents can request gender inclusive housing, but incoming can not.</p>
