Okay, so I kind of put myself into a super sticky situation and I am really freaking out. I have been accepted to the University of Florida and I am afraid of my admission getting revoked. I left high school two years early and began taking full-time college classes. This is my last semester before going to the University… I am taking Bio 2 with lab, Physics 2 with lab, Calculus 1, Computer analytics, and psychology. It looks like I might end this semester with 2 A’s, 4 C’s and 1 D. I have a current 4.5 high school GPA. But this semester has literally destroyed me on all levels. I was Accepted into the Summer B freshman class, so im not starting directly in the fall. Hopefully that will soften the blow a little bit. So… What exactly are my chances of getting my admission revoked?
I’ve never heard of a student getting revoked for a few C’s or a D (but you do have both). Not that I’m an expert.
Will you have earned your AA (since you’re doing DE) and had to go through the Freshman with AA admissions process? If so, you do have certain requirements for your college.
Otherwise, try to keep your grades up and try to avoid that D, or that many C’s. Bad semesters will happen, don’t let it keep you down, or make you lose focus during finals.
Good Luck!
Yes I am getting my AA this spring
If I not mistaken, you took 19 credits/7 courses [Calculus 1 (MAC2311?) is 5 credits; {(Bio 2 with lab=3+1)+(Physics 2 with lab=3+1)+(MAC2311=5)+(Computer=3)+(Psychology=3)}], so you did some very difficult courses with an above average course load. I doubt UF would rescind your acceptance for a single D. What would be your major at UF? Pre-med track?
Pre-pharmacy, also the D was in a lab class.
