UF decision 2012 Spring TRANSFER - accepted/denied

Uf loves to take forever with their decisions…

question: for those of you accepted, did your conditions on the online status check for admission specify a grade you had to receive in certain classes, or just say completion? because mine just said i had to complete calculus, but didnt specify a certain grade. im assuming that means a C or higher, but i know some people had to get a B or higher in certain classes. anyway, if you could let me know thatd be great :)

@ David…no kidding! They have one week left to let us know! It is disappointing to see that they don’t make it a priority at all- obvious when other schools let you know at least two months earlier!

Yeah but there’s only 1 week left.

well, I was accepted into FSU but still no word from UF. Applying to CLAS as an English major. About three weeks ago my status updated to “your application has been referred to your college for a final decision.” Just checked it this morning, same deal. ***?! Anyone know when they’ll make a decision?

@honeyfuggle

I emailed Ms. Emelie Matthews, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and she said we will hear an decision no later than Nov 15. I guess they will make a decision less than one week.

Okay, that’s great, thank you. :)

Arghhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Just talked to some lady and all she had to say was “Nov 15th”

Wow…two days left until the deadline and my status still hasn’t changed…I hardly doubt that it takes that long to make decisions, a bit of procrastination perhaps… Again, due to UF transfer policies I can’t attend anyways (wish to change major), so UCF it is for me- where I can change my major freely and plan my academic career according to my own wishes. Good luck all. UF is supposed to be wonderful for academics, and may still be an option for myself later for grad school…

I am curious to see how many people don’t hear back until the day of the 15th ;)

I got in !!!

congrats! seems like everyone with 3.5 gpas are getting in

Does everyone here hear something back from uf? I still got nothing :frowning: I am wondering whether it is my application’s problem

I also have nothing. Today- the 15th- is the deadline for CALS, and possibly other colleges (not sure). So if you really want to know, it’s probably a fair day to give them a call and ask. You shouldn’t have any problems if on the ‘check status’ page, everything has been properly received.

Yep, I think I will call CALS tmr and ask for an direct answer :)

Almost 5 p.m. and still no response. This is so irritating! I missed FSU’s orientation slot because I was waiting for UF’s decision! Uggggh.

No changes…as of almost 7 pm on supposed deadline day…
I tried calling CALS, both times it rang once or twice and went to voicemail.

nothing. oh well.

anybody get a reply today?

hey i emailed CALS and the lady who is in charge said “Those applications too me longer to process and they are now with the committee. As soon as the committee returns them to me, I will let you know the decision.” So i guess we have to wait for another one or two weeks.

Good luck for everyone!

I got my answer today and unfortunately it’s no. I did not meet all of the required courses.
