Does anyone know what UF is looking for with this question:
“Is there any other information for the Admission Committee to consider when your application is reviewed?”
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

@gatordad5 is there anything else your child thinks the admission officer should know when evaluating the application.
Random examples - I had to change high schools twice for x reason.
Etc.
Hi @Melissa96 , thanks so much for the reply. That’s kind of the problem, there isn’t really anything like that to explain.
He wrote two short paragraphs about why he only played in the band one year (ninth grade), which is because he had to choose between a varsity sport and band, due to time commitments, and he chose the sport. His school counselor didn’t like it very much and said he should write something like a “why UF” response.
So now he has a 250-word, essay-type response, but I’m worried that it isn’t what admissions wants.
Is it better to leave this blank or say “Nothing further to submit”?
I would use the space to describe something interesting about him that doesn’t come out in typical college apps. Think hobbies, curiosities, part time job experiences, interests, etc. Opportunity to be creative here.
I told my kids to use every available square inch to sell themselves. Use that extra space express interest, for example, or to elaborate on points that aren’t covered in the application. No downside to using the space.
