Yea, I have that too. It’s been there for a while.

since i got accepted on wednesday and nothing really changes on isis or my.ufl, I can conclude that there are really no signs to look for there.

I guess we should see next Tuesday and Wednesday!

decisions came out on monday as well and some even received their letters on those days… meaning they were admitted days before the letters arrived.

so ya the whole “only tuesday and wednesday” thing, nah.

lol Teb0w, you shot me down. I like to guesstimate a lot if you can’t tell, I never said I was right…

Oh and I think most (emphasis on most) of the decisions that came out with letters were from a different college. I’m just guessing the CLAS admissions committee has an organized period out of the week that they meet, and post decisions.

To continue this game of guessing, which I find fun, I noticed their system shut down form like 6-7ish and when it came back on around 8ish people were broadcasting decisions. Feel free to shut me down again if you like, I’ll probably keep this up until the 30th lol.

it’s for my sanity purposes >.<

That’s cool, I don’t take things personally. I just like sharing ideas with well-informed people, and reshaping those ideas when new information is presented. The Physicists in me I guess lol

vzon, I think the people report at such late times like 8 pm is because they may not frequently check like others do.
But I’m just anxious to know already…

me including 2 others in this thread received their decision AFTER 8pm,

I have noticed that at 8pm or so at night the status page goes down then comes back in 15 minutes, they must do a large update at the end of the day, I think im pretty sure about this…

seen as how i don’t have a decision yet, not large enough. lol/ cries

hmmm…interesting.

40 pages, 23000 views…wow a lot a people really wanna transfer to UF this year

we’re just all so stressed out and seeking solace via this thread! :)

Do you guys think that, for example, I applied to the CLAS for fall 09 and how on the letter of intent they have you write 2 essays. Do you think CLAS looks at an applicant from an whole standpoint or just simply gpa. Like I have a gpa in the lower 3’s but I have excellent reasoning which I explained in my essays. How much do you guys feel those are taken into account.

they will read it. That’s why they are taking this long.

i have a 3.85 and a 4.0 pre-prof along with a strong letter of intent and still am nervous as all heck.

I can’t imagine reading that many essays

haha definitely rsala…I have a 3.2 but dealt with unfortunate circumstances in my family my freshman year. Since then I have completed did a 180 and turned my academics around. Within the last 2 semesters I have gotten a 4.0 and a 3.5. I have a huge inclination each semester in grades as well as 2 amazing essays. I just hope they take all that into account upon making a decision. You never know what they look for though. UF has been known to be a crap shoot. What do you guys think of my situation?

Does anyone that got into the Engineering school still check this? If so, has your status changed yet?

degree audit changed

looking at my entire degree audit…i see that some of my classes do not count towards any of the required stuff…(i was under engineering plan first year)

realistically I wasted about 14 credits (about ENTIRE first semester here at fiu)

BUT i AM REALLY HAPPY ABOUT THIS!

only 46 of my credits transferred …that means it might still be possible for me to be taken seriously when I ask for a transfer to college of engineering
