I’m going for organic crop production and wanting to double major with sustainable agriculture. I just finished my AA so those are the transcripts I sent. I’m finishing my last chem class this summer and hope to at least get a conditional acceptance. The UF CALS adviser came to my school and she told me there weren’t many applicants last semester. They ended up with open seats but I’m thinking it might be a little different this semester with all the campus visits CALS did.

Congrats on getting in!

I applied to the college of Design, Construction and Planning as a Sustainability and the Built Environment Major on May 18th. My application was referred to the college on May 24th. I called and asked when they thought a decision would be made they said after the June 1st deadline… it’s now June 5th… should I be expecting a decision by Friday June 8th or is that too soon? I have a very good source/friend that applied earlier and was notified of her acceptance within 3 weeks… Also does anyone know how competitive transfer student acceptance is for my major specifically? I hear that its a relatively new program with a low number of applicants each year… Im just really anxious to know if I got in or not… UF is my dream school. Anyone already a sustainability major? Advice, comments, stories- anything new info is welcome btw I am transferring from Broward College with an AA and an ok GPA of 3.1 and all other pre-reqs satisfied.
