I applied as a First time Freshman, seeking a political science etc... they have me (when i review my app) as a transfer, with no degree picked out.. what the fccccck i just got an email about transfer admissions so i emailed them back immediately i'll call asap also, im furious

I’d make sure you don’t show the attitude when you call. That’s not the best way to get people to help you.

Well it’s annoying. Am I not allowed to be annoyed? I even have what it look like before printscreened because i’ve done that for all my App’s… I’m actually not calling but I emailed the office of admissions.

Looks like somebody made an error, and I’m sure it can be easily fixed. There’s no need to be so upset.

It’s understandable to be annoyed, but don’t show it. The larger the school, the more likely they had a (pick any from the list) -software glitch- name/application mismatch (people are surprised how many people have the same name)- improperly loaded application- misfiled application- unclear H.S. transcript led to misclassified/review- current coursework section filled out incorrectly led to misclassified/review- human error. Some of these schools are processing hundreds (occasionally thousands) of documents and applications a week. Mistakes happen.

I get if it was one mistake, but two big ones? It’s meh i’ve talked to a lady but she doesn’t know if they can change me to a degree instead of undeclared ><

if you are entering as a first time freshman most schools don’t require you to have a major selected already. I don’t think that part of the equation makes much a difference. The transfer freshman glictch should be easily ironed out with a phone call which I would make in spite of the email you already sent.

Take a chill pill if you are listed as a transfer at two schools it may be that the mistake is yours and the last thing you want to do is make a big fuss over a small issue that was your fault in the first place.

I never said i was listed as a transfer at two schools? So no need to be rude. It’s only Oregon. And I’d like to be listed as a major because I don’t want to be placed in a, whatever its not worth explaining my self. I’m allowed to be angry.
