Ugliest Campus

I honestly thought UMich was sort of ugly. It just wasn't exciting.

But the ugliest campus in America hands down is Augsburg College in Minneapolis.

SUNY Binghamton. Binghamton is one of the most depressing town on the fact of this earth, and the most overcast town to the east of the Rocky Mountains.
(Wiki: "Binghamton is known for its heavy cloudiness; it is the seventh cloudiest U.S. city, and the cloudiest east of the Rocky Mountains") There is nothing to do downtown AT ALL but drink.

The area is pretty green, but the campus is filled with square gray blobs.

We liked Towson (trees, little walking bridges, academic buildings in a cluster) but UMass was just an eyesore.

GW, for a campus in the city, is beautiful. But it isn't really fair to compare in-the-city campuses in that the buildings are part of the cityscape. If one finds cities , in general, ugly, then you may have a case.

DREXEL gets my vote by far .. the little strip of "green" if you will is called rape garden .. its just a really terrible campus .. i even brought it up on the tour saying to the guide that i read in princeton review drexel was voted ugliest campus .. haha some people actually said they thought it was beautiful ... but its just my opinion ..

I must say for prettiest though: Indiana University. It feels more like a resort than a college.

I know this is an old thread but HAHAAHHA that’s drexel’s “good” picture of their campus

Oh. Ew.

I second the poster who mentioned Binghamton further up in the thread. Bing was actually one of my top choices until I visited. Then it slowly fell down the ranks to like, number six. I decided that I just couldn’t be compelled to live in a place like that for four years.

Drexel is a total dump. The sad thing is, we have a MUCH nicer campus and we’re in North Philly…

NYU doesn’t have a campus, therefore its campus can’t be ugly  no but while many find the campus ugly, the architecture is very typical of Greenwich Village and I like the Washington Square Park area and many NYU buildings:

Fordham Rose Hill is beautiful, but they seemed to have neglected their Lincoln Center Campus?

^The village is absolutely gorgeous, in my opinion. Very old, small, untouched. Personally, I don’t like NYU’s campus because it doesn’t exist, but the school’s buildings are great.

I’ve actually never seen FCLC, but FCRH is amazing. I loveeeee that campus.

FCRH is gorgeous. I think it’s the second nicest campus I’ve ever seen. The first being Peking University’s campus.

FCLC is hideous. I don’t know who is retouching the pictures of FCLC on their website, because they deserve a raise. They’ve made FCLC look halfway decent—which I imagine is hard to do.

I think all college campuses are nice looking.

Platts, why don’t you transfer to Rose Hill then? Aren’t you allowed to take classes on both Fordham campuses? I visited both and came very close to going to Fordham Rose Hill.

Rutgers is ugly.

I’m switching to Columbia soon, so I can tolerate FCLC for awhile longer. I’m trying to take the remainder of my classes of FCRH, but I live closer to FCLC, so it’s certainly out of the way trying to get to the other campus.

I don’t feel like dealing with the bureaucracy of transferring to the other campus, especially since I’m leaving soon. But you’re allowed to take major or elective classes at the campus that isn’t your “home” campus, CORE classes have to be taken at the home campus. Luckily, my CORE is finished.

I actually really liked Drexel’s campus when I visited…And the picture that someone posted not too far up doesn’t do it justice at all!

Drexel really is that ugly.

Cleveland State… At least Fordham Lincoln Center has New York

I never thought that Drexel was ugly. Of course, I’ve only seen pictures.
