Uh oh.... Spaghettio

There is a high possibility that I may be deployed to Iraq. I’ll be returning in December of 09… If I get accepted into the school of my choice… How will this affect my acceptance?.. Even if I manage to put off school for a year I won’t be able to attend fall session of '09…

is there any possible way that I can attend winter quarter which follows Fall '09? Can they make an exception for me? If I have to attend fall '10 I’ll be off track from school 2 whole years…

Do I have to reapply?

If so, how long are CC grades valid? I started coursework Spring of 06…

Why can’t they let students attend other quarters?.. sigh… this sucks

they won't **** you over for serving your country haha and if they do you that school doesnt even deserve to have you as a student. I think they would have to let you in for winter quarter

I'd think you'd be okay if you just re-applied, which is a hassle, I know. Probably call up the school you are most likely/most eager to get into and tell them your situation, then try to work something out.

UCLA Undergrad Admissions: New Bruins - Military Duty

And I'm sure it's the same at other UC's

Are you a reservist? That's the main reason I didn't want to go active reserves after active duty was over.

Same here fijeeboi

i'm pretty sure you can defer admission to the following year.

Just wait until you get accepted, then ask to defer your admission due to military reasons, i would not ask until A. you got your decision and B. you knew for sure.

They will have no problem deffering your admission until Winter/Spring
