Yeah, so Taft offers recreational equestrian.

I'm getting this from www.schools.com BTW.

taft!!!!! yayyyy!!! i love that school.. i wa sjust looking through the brochure and i fell in love.. too late to applyyou think? deadline is tomarow lol.

Tomorrow is Jan 15th so I think the post office isn't working. Finish it tomorrow and send it on the 16th.

blairt, if you haven't sent them information or an application by now, I think it's too late.

I think you should go ahead and apply, even if you're counted as a late applicant.

Did you get your SSAT scores back yet?

If you really love it, then I agree with Jonathan. If you don't, though, then it might not be worth it. Nine schools is a lot.

anodver, exeter, choate, sps, st georges, tabor, blair????, hotchkiss?????, taft????

.. i dont knoww.... could blair be my safety? or is tabor? blair bores me.

dude no offense, tabor and blair both sounds like pretty mediocre places. i could be wrong tho lol- was just looking at the course offerings...

tabor has pretty strong course offerings i think.. 21 AP's.. SPS only has 10. and lots of marine biology. but it is relatiely easy to get into. my cousins are NOT the academic type and they were accepted.. i think one had a B average and acted in a few plays and got somewhere in the 60's SSAT..

so are they safeties for me?

ohh my bad. wait thats weird that SPS only has 10?? how does that work?

SPS has a lot of post-AP courses, though, and they have tons of courses that are as challenging as AP but they just don't get college credit.

I hope you're not trying to imply that Tabor is a stronger school than St. Paul's.

yeah, prolly. but idk sugarkim or someone was saying how she got into andover but was waitlisted at a bunch of easy places cuz her app was so strong or something.

oh wait that was in response to blairt.

they offer a lot of electives.. idk.

blair offers astrophysics.. but im not interested. anyway, it's not a hard school to get into but i dont know if it's a safety for me?
avg ssat 65%
acceptance rate 56%
i have family in nj
went to camp in town ( i guess they may see it as me knowing the area somewhat)

lol, no i dont think so jonathan1, SPS certainly sounds like a pretty competitive school. the only reason why ididnt apply was because itd be incredibly competitive to apply for 11th grade, seeing that they only accept maybe 10 or so juniors.

You don't think so what?

i love sps.
and my grandfather gave me his blessing in applying there lol. i value his opinion.
he loves concord.

tabor does have a broad curriculum for a school w/ 50% acceptance rate..
marine biology & great sailing.. i loeveeeeee the sailinggggg man i'm almost excited to go.

anyway, am i a "shoe-in"? is it a safety?

Ask that question when you get your SSAT score back.

And how many juniors does Tabor accept?

Am I a shoe in???? Is it a safety???

Please answer my question!!!
