UIC and UIC GPPA

So i heard about the UIC GPPA program which guarantees you a spot in their medical school. I was wondering if I get rejected from UIC GPPA program, will I still be able to go to UIC? Or do I have to fill out two applications for UIC GPPA program and the UIC school?

You fill out a regular UIC application and a GPPA application. You can be denied from GPPA but still accepted into UIC.

(without knowing anything about your stats), you WILL be accepted to UIC, and possibly with honors and scholarship. The GPPA part is depending on your stats.

scholarships at UIC lol. There are only a handful of merit scholarships per year and you must be in the Honors College to be eligible for them. You need to fill out a separate application for Honors College. I believe it is included in the GPPA application.

Why would you ever want to go to UIC unless it is only for GPPA?
