it's been 2-3 weeks.........

Guys, they called me in for a second interview, but they only gave me one days notice. It suprising b/c i thought my interview was crappy.

did anyone else get called?

biceps09, when did they call u?

I am not saying biceps09 is lying. However someone must have played a prank on him and he did not get it. It is impossible for UIC to give a one days notice, and they communicate by postal mail. Letters will be mailed out late February or the first week of March. Good luck to all of you.

They didnt really give me one days notice. They gave me a choice of coming in on thursday, fri, or monday. I just chose fri

I had my interview today. I didn't get a letter, just a call and then an email a few days ago like biceps09.

I received a call for an interview earlier this afternoon, and was given a choice of days next week. Pretty short notice, but not bad.

Uhh, sorry IvyLeague, but it's true. Although I haven't gotten a call (YET. I called them today and they said they're only halfway through their list) but a few of my friends have, and 'tis the truth.

anybody have any ideas as to how many people were granted this second interview?

krisrox... did you ask them if you were on the list? what are your friend's stats?

What kind of essay did you have to write? I'm sooo nervous... does anyone have any advice?

No, they "didn't have the exact information." I dunno their stats, but I really don't think stats matter at this point. I think the interview and essay were pretty much key. Unfortunately for me, moreso the essay, but we'll see...

krisrox, biceps09, I goofed. UIC has started the interview process. I was thinking of Case Western, and I mixed the information on the two schools. UIC communicates via, phone, & e-mail. They have finished 10 percent of the interviews.

It's all good. Did you apply at CW? How'd that go?

During the week of March 6th, the selection committee at Case Western will mail notifications for interview. Interviews will be held in the first week of April.

I got a 31 on my ACT. I know that it's not good enough if I want to ensure my success, but do you know if I need to take the writing portion as well for the gppa?

no you dont
uic doesnt require it

Hi, I'm a sophomore at Conant High School. I'm kind of interested in GPPA for pharmacy. However, I'm not in any accelerated classes except for AP European History and AP US next year. Do colleges look at the classes I take, or do they just look at my GPA? And do you need to apply for GPPA?

How did you know that? Also, I tried looking at the UIC website, but I couldn't find how many credits I needed for foreign language. Does anyone know where I could find more information.
