UIC Transfer Housing??? (University of Illinois at Chicago)

Im a freshman at CMU transferring to UIC in the fall(2017) and I have no idea where to live on campus.

Which dorms have majority upperclassmen but is close to campus? And do you think it’d be hard to make friends even though im super extrovert? I just don’t want to end up hanging out with freshman (no offense), like i know its what you make of it but what would be the best option? could i have an opinion from other transfers or people familiar with the area?

The dorms with more upperclassman are, in no particular order, SSR, CMN, TBH, MRH. There is a mix in CTY and JST. Avoid CMS. I’m not quite sure about the make up of CMW and PSR. JST was built during my time at UIC and that impacted the distribution and SRH was still open.
