<p>For UIUC, you apply directly to a major. So you better decide which field to go now. You may also choose general studies if you cannot decide, but it may hurt your chance.</p>

<p>(sorry, accidentally pressed post) the campus as a whole was much nicer than wpi, and thats good considering it is also higher ranked than WPI. the only thing i didnt like were the freshman dorms, which were pretty awful. But they do get better with seniority. Overall id say RPI was much nicer than WPI</p>
<p>Cool, I think I’m just going to apply to RPI and skip WPI. Did you get the Candidates Choice application from RPI? It’s pretty easy to use. Would you say there’s plenty to do outside of class at RPI, like a good social scene?</p>
<p>Yeah i decided to not apply to WPI either. And no i didnt get the candidates choice, im just using the common app. As far as social stuff, there are like hundreds of clubs and also a lot of fraternities, so that is a lot of social stuff i guess</p>
