IU is slightly better in Business (very good b-school there), but Illinois is better in general. If you could picture yourself transferring out of Business, you should go to Illinois.

Otherwise, go to IU (especially since Illinois is so expensive).

Recruiting you will be fine at either place. Environment... not that there is anything wrong with uiuc but personally, I think the campus and surrounding town is nicer at IU. But you should check out both for yourself already if you haven't yet. School as a whole, generally uiuc programs are better. Depending on what you might change to though, the difference might be nominal. If money is a big factor, I am sure you will be fine at Indiana even if you end up changing majors.

I think IU kelley's business school is better known, but if you plan on changing majors remember that IU doesn't offer engineering and some other stuff
