I've already posted my stats in the forum but not with my intended major.
Intended major : Computer Science.
AlT major : LAS - Computer Science + X

I'm an international student from India.
SAT I : 1970 (M-710 CR -640 WR-620) for some reason I have problems with concentrating during the SAT
SAT II: Math level 2 -800 Chem-800(Not applicable for UIUC)
GPA: No GPA but 10th:91% (ICSE) 11th : 98%(State board - syllabus equal to first year intro courses at college)
EC's: Don't have any due to my school. Its a prep academy for IITs so ( 6am to 10:30 pm).
All my EC's are during my 10th grade.
In 9th and 10th : Founder and president of debate club. A national level school debater.
School basketball team and some normal ones.
Essays: put a lot of effort so think they're good.

WOW! We have many things in common! My scores are worse than you though!

UIUC is not a super selective college (%63 acceptnace rate) and because it doesn’t offer any money to internationals, it probably is even less selecitve for you.

If there was any time, I would probably reccomend you to take another SAT or even ACT (if you can’t concentrate too much one SAT), but the scores are fine and you are in the mid %50. So no worry!

Your chance: something like Match - low match (if you are a female student just Match)

My advice: Apply to some safer schools! My suggestion: Penn state.

There are also many good CS colleges in Canada that have good quality and cheaper tuition fees. With a 90 something TOEFL, mostly without even essay and SAT, you can get in really easy! Have them in mind: UBC, Torronto (UT is a little bit more expensive though!), McGill, Waterloo and If you don’t have problem with really really cold weather Alberta!

My first option is UIUC so I wanted to know. From what I’ve seen comp sci is a pretty competitive major and even UIUC is competitive. They don’t give stats of intl students so I’m worried.

I also applied to UIUC’s computer science (engineering), but I got into my alternate major, Statistics and Computer Science (I got a 32 on the ACT). It may have been 63% acceptance rate a couple of years ago, but UIUC is becoming more and more selective, since many very-qualified people are applying for the engineering department. If you have time, it wouldn’t hurt to take the SAT/ACT again.

Boyyocool, I am not an expert on UIUC admissions but I can share my son’s experience. UIUC asks for two major choices it seems 60% get accepted to one of their declarations or general admission. My son and two others from his HS, oos applied as computer science majors (fourth ranked program in the nation). Two were accepted and the third got his second choice Computer engineering. The lowest stats of the three were 2050 SAT 1 and 32 Act. I would suggest that you take the ACT it is more science/math intensive which seems to be your strong point.

The problem was I didn’t have much awareness about ACT and now I can’t take it since my board exams are coming up does being international help?

I guess the only thing that would get you into UIUC would be your essays. I have also applied for UIUC Engineering and have almost same stats as you (sat 1980) and am also from India. All we can do now is hope, because a very few students have been admitted into engineering with 1950-2050 sat due to their essays during the past years.
