DD was accepted into scholars and is also waiting to hear on her program assignment. The person we spoke with last Thursday in the scholars department said they will be announced by email in the next week or so. No word on a scholarship either, but we think it’s a long shot.
We got a letter from the “Office of Undergraduate Recruitment and Scholarship Programs”. Is that containing merit aid news by any chance?
I’m not home so cannot check at this time… Only know because of USPS’ email.

The Honors College Living/Learning Program notifications were made today.

We received the same letter today from the “Office of Undergraduate Recruitment and Scholarship Programs” but it was just a basic welcome to the engineering school letter. Curious- did others include a scholarship offer?
My DD got that letter…kind of a tease!

Shoot! I was really hoping scholarship letters were coming out. On another topic, my son got an acceptance email from the DCC LLP today. It was his first choice.
My DD was invited to University Honors today. Not really sure what that is honestly!
@pickledginger Is that honors or scholars? Did it come snail mail or email?
did people in honors/scholars get their first choice? I got university honors even though I put down ILS as my first choice with what I thought was a good essay. not really sure what university honors is.
My son got an email today that he was accepted to the University Honors program. His 4th choice. This coupled with no BK invite has been extremely disappointing. Both my wife and I are Alumni. At this point I’m holding out for some type of merit money. He’s got a 1540 SAT and a 3.98 unweighted GPA from one of the most competitive high schools in the country.
D accepted into Honors Humanities via email notification about an hour ago. Says it also “will appear” on Coalition checklist - not sure if there yet or not. HoHum was her first choice.

@canigetahoyaa No email here for Scholars. I guess only Honors received them.

I think they all are on Facebook and Twitter… The following link can take you to each individual Honors program and those pages have Facebook and Twitter links (usually at the bottom)
I got accepted into gemstone… even though I put entrepreneurship and innovation as my first choice. I don’t understand, I thought gemstone was HARDER to get into then EIP??? Is there anyway I can appeal this, as I was REALLY looking forward to joining EIP???
