I think it’s going to be very unpredictable going forward. Unless schools go back to test required, which will reduce the applicant pool and give an objective metric (and even then it will still be way less predictable than it was 10, 20, 30 years ago)

I was actually comparing to when my son applied to colleges in 2019 for fall 2020. It was pre pandemic and times were definitely different then.

lol! I popped on here yesterday and it was very entertaining reading this thread. I’m a mom so at least the pressure isn’t on me to get into college but I do feel for all the students who are waiting and hoping for their acceptances.
